Recap of like, the last six months:
My father reformatted my PC without my explicit knowledge and I nearly lost everything. Thanks to a very dear friend and his wonderful recovery software, I got some very precious photos back. Yay!
I have a new PC now, because my father told me that the motherboard in my old one was fried, but really it turns out that the OLD network card he put in (from 2000!) and it's terrible drivers just made it go DURR. The new one did the SAME THING when he installed that shit. Thanks to Jim (<333) and John (<333), I got that all cleared out and go figure: It works just fine.
